Great pics alright, glad your wife was along to document this trip. I visited some of these places when I was on my honeymoon with my Russian wife, but I seem to have not had quite as good a tour guide as you, that Marsh Aquatic Reserve is really amazing.

Wild

I want to be a lot more than 20 feet away from these pre-historic demons but that's just me. As more and more of the world looks increasingly the same It's great to see pictures of place that are unique to a particular geography.

Have a fun adventure and don't become lunch

Glad y'all enjoy your visit to my old stomping grounds.

It's a lot different and crowded than when I lived there in the late '40s and '50's (& no that does not make me over a hundred years old as one of your commenters suggested in an earlier post! GRIN) but still a lot of grand and great down there!

I was writing to someone yesterday about how when I worked in newspapers as a presentation editor, my favorite pages to do were the weekend travel pages. I never visited anywhere, but I enjoyed reading about different places and seeing the photography. Your post today was a fun throwback to that ⛵️

Excellent photos. I love Florida, one of my best photo taking trips ever was to the Everglades with my Nikon camera and a few rolls of black and white infrared film - those infrared pics of the swamps and the spanish moss were amazing. Florida always felt like a magical place to me going back to my childhood.
