I hate nobody over race, only those who are nefarious, perverted, treasonous or greedy to the point of Corruption.

...exodus from hate, what goes around comes around...remember the old saying "hate is like drinking poison and hoping the other guy dies"

It amazes me how many respond with hate of person rather than their actions -one can identify the acts of a person and want the acts stopped and some amount of punishment as deterrent but too many want violent punishment and obliteration of person and often in public. Pretty bloodthirsty response

Yep.

It's unsurprising, of course, to associate the idea with the person espousing it, or the action with the person doing it. Ideas and actions only exist because of people.

But it certainly is kinder and more effective to try to persuade them to think or act differently, rather than just hating them and thus polarizing the situation.

I hate no One over anything but whether They choose Their behavior unEthically. They can be nasty turds verbally, but if They don't defraud, steal, sabotage, torture or kill Others, I'm all good. They may not be My taste, and I will move on, but I still care that They have a good life.

Very True Christopher. However exposing real evil, and calling it out is a key part of exposing it, is key to liberation!

I guess it’s about balance. There’s no end of real evil in the world, so we have to balance the time we spend calling it out with the time we spend smelling lilacs.

One technique to bypass the contempt is to treat everything, and everyone, as an entity imparting some important lesson you should pay attention to. That lesson may simply be to avoid Bette Midler, but as life strategies go it could get you far.

As for the NHS in Britain, it is famously lost to Woke. Not just embracing it, but woke defines it. It is the biggest public sector entity in the country, so can be thought of as a liberal petri dish just waiting to be captured by the next Current Thing.

Almost every hospital in the UK flies a rainbow flag but is supposed to only fly a Union Jack. Completely gone.

—Love it. Very wise. Maybe we need to add that to the Book of Shoulds!
