Hmmmmmm 🤔

I once had an 'All-star' profile on LinkedIn. It was the most exposed I have ever been on the Internet. I had the page active for around 15 years and it never once got me a job, or did anything beneficial for my career whatsoever. The premise of the platform is a ruse, aside from Social Engineering, it only serves as a platform for parasitic headhunter recruiters to make money off of the hard work & education of people with genuine skills they do not possess.

After Microsoft acquired LinkedIn, it went into full Bernaysian propaganda mode and became a sewer of Social Engineering. I had many pissing contests with obsequious, servile, boot-licking meatheads in various agencies of Government, as well as the military, and was once 'warned' for posting a meme I made of Nancy Pelosi as the Creepshow Crypt Keeper. That was the end for me.

I experienced the same thing as you, feckless twits in Government agencies creeping my LinkedIn page, but I wasn't nice about it. I would confront them, if they had no legitimate reason, i.e. a need for my professional services, I would berate them for their ignorance of civic law, tell them GFY & blocked them.

Upon my retirement, I deleted all of my data and my profile/account, but I had to force LinkedIn to provide legal proof they had none of my personal information, after somebody kept trying to open new accounts with my name and email address. I had to have an attorney send them a letter in order to get a legitimate response, and a binding commitment to stop it, and only then did it actually stop.

Trusting LinkedIn seems foolish to me. It is quite literally, Bill Gates window into the lives of every member. Moreover, Bill Gates' very success is built upon illegitimate criminal collusion with Government from day one.

You make excellent points. LinkedIn does very little for me too.

Interestingly, I think Europe has some sort of "right to disappear" law that forces businesses to completely delete your info. I am not sure, but I did hear that. And I am not surprised that we don't have something like that in the U.S.

Not at all surprising, I live in DC and the Government Paranoia runs deep. These creeps have hurt so many people in so many ways they see enemies under their beds every night.

There's no need to investigate me, 'cause my every breath, every thought is captured and cataloged. I have 17 1/2 years direct experience with the most mind-invasive and physically destructive technology, It's trite to say it, I'm a Targeted Individual.

But my life was invaded when I was about 5 years old, and I wasn't aware of that until several years after my life's work was stolen, and I was driven from my home by e-weapons in 2006.

I'm not at all pessimistic about my own life, though I have first hand knowledge of the depths of evil to which the TPTB have reached. Government is in the hands of the dregs of mankind, and these are the kind of creatures who believe "my way or no way".

If youre not familiar with the T.I. issue, check facebook, twitter. Check V2K, RNM and related topics, to get an idea of what your government is doing to certain people, because it can.

My long term plan is to tend my own garden.

—Just like every totalitarian state. It kind of raises a question: what is there actually to be patriotic about?

"these are the kind of creatures who believe 'my way or no way'."

—That is a foundational human pathology, isn't it?

I think humanity is just a bit confused what the next big threat will be, we know there will be large tragic events at some point, the tragic event will probably be the event to preempt the tragic event that didnt happen because we prempted the tragic event before that, and so on, AAAaaahhhhhh….. where am I? ops down the rabbit hole in the dark with a bunch of FBI agents, come on down everyone.

We have had over 5 years one step at a time, returning Oregon to a proper status. It took a long time to 1st Amendment Assemble; ARTICLE I Section 1 social compact, with 6 people then on and on now we are several hundred in our Jury Pool. We took the first step June 2017. There has been only color of law since March 1861. The de facto folds , hides, fails every time we in the de jure confront them. Not one of us has been retaliated on. 6 Grand Juries, 5 Article III Amendment VII trials and a whole lot more. It can be duplicated with all the paperwork in 30 days, 5 or 6 people and 60 bucks postage 40 for a seal and 15 hours work. You cannot stop them until you start, you must do it yourself, you cannot do it alone and no one can do it for you. Mindset.

it's amazing. it's frustrating. it points to a grand agenda and one that has been described in detail for decades, and longer, by those who wish to implement it. very well written and beyond pertinent. i am "no wing," i am pro human, pro all life, pro natural law, pro freedom in a multiverse based on said natural law, abundance. it blows my mind how much work it takes to create this scarcity/fear based society and how much less work an abundance based system would work for all. plant one seed and it makes a thousand, possibly more. where does "debt" fit into that? it doesn't. it's fictitious as is the system we now are dealing with, by law it is, the creators know it. wild world. great words. cheers.

Cower if that's all you can do. But if you are brave, choose to speak up.

"Each of us should inventory our degree of bravery for the times ahead. Tank Man, Paine, and the White Rose risked their lives opposing a corrupt state. Are you ready to die, if necessary, in defense of your convictions? Are they the backbone of your life or just ideas you’re flirting with? Is death preferable to slavery? Or is slavery death by other means? We must decide and act accordingly."

I admire Thomas Paine but I know that I don't have that kind of personal courage.

Compare it to being prepared to be persecuted if you are a Christian. Peter was positive he would be brave, but he cowered when faced with the reality of suffering what Jesus was going to suffer. You don't know what you will feel when they handcuff your hands behind your back until it happens.

Did you see the part of the thread about "Bartertown"? I am seriously asking the question—if you and I had to create Bartertown tomorrow, how would it work? No crypto, few people have a store of gold, no access to fiat-currency savings in banks…what would we do?

Expand full comment
Jan 9Liked by Christopher Cook

I think barter would be drastically local (I live in a non-woke suburb, recently moved here after watching my city crumble). Neighbor to neighbor, etc. Small denomination silver (eagles) would be your friend (hopefully), along with food items, vegetables, fruit, nuts. I think in survival mode, keep oats & water on hand to tough out the hardest early stage collapse. I have a nice IRA (for 40 years now) but would not be surprised to see it literally taken by my "government" if it sees me as "enemy" simply because I want it to leave me alone. Ironically, they still demand my tax dollars.

Expand full comment
author

It would be irony if it weren't for the fact that this is exactly what one can expect from government. They are behaving as governments behave. Which is why government needs to be replaced by voluntary governance.

The big question I have about barter boils down to this: how many beds does the bed-maker trade to the chicken farmer for a single egg?

See what I mean? Currency allows this. Strict barter makes it tougher.

If we were running Bartertown, how would we facilitate it?

Expand full comment
Jan 9Liked by Christopher Cook

I'm assuming tangible assets, like small denomination precious metals (silver eagles, etc), would retain value or appreciate in value and be tradable outside of "government". Strict barter, of course, would be more complicated. We're gonna all have to get smart fast about our food supplies, about knowing our neighbors, about defending ourselves. My biggest question is: can we stop CBDC's at this point?

Expand full comment
author

On the barter front—I have an idea in my head, but it is tenuous and I am not quite smart enough to extract it from its inchoate state. It is something like this…

Somehow, in Bartertown, some credit system could be devised. Like a bank of sorts, so people who didn't save silver coins could somehow accrue credits they could use in exchanges.

As far as CBDC, I don't know. I sure hope so. More people are becoming aware each day. Some states are even talking about laws against it. Keep talking/sharing/teaching—maybe we can reach critical mass!
