I concur. The fact that I have children and 3 very young grandchildren keeps me feisty and in the game, too. It is hell in Colorado. However, I take a small bit of pleasure in the fact that I now see people where I work daring to wear T-shirts that read ‘Non-compliant’ after I showed up wearing one. I have an assortment of T-shirts such as ‘I’m already naturally immune to bullshit’, ‘I’d rather be a rebel than a slave’, ‘It seems to be mutating into a communist dictatorship’ with a microscope on it, ‘not my new normal’, ‘stop medical tyranny’, ‘bring wholesome back’, ‘still complying? They are coming for your bank account next’, etc. I wondered if I’d be fired but I see others beginning to follow suit. I consider it a small win. I will be thinking of you. I think that having children in this world makes everything matter so much more. I know I don’t want to leave behind a shit show for them. I feel for you, Jessica.
I like the lyrics. There's something that stirs when certain drums hit just right. Like this one I found. While the younger guy needs to dial it back that performance a bit, the song still gets the blood flowing.
Dang that was sick
We did move to the mountains.
Amish neighbors, community, locally sourced food, magical landscape.
It's what we always wanted but never thought possible.
i escaped to the jungle
i learned many things
namely
it is much more effective to fight tyranny
when your body is not being consumed by three phylums of nature
also - water - food - health care
these all came up in a big way
oh yeah, and money
i did not have a car at the time
and the local snakes
did not give you enough time
to take a bus
-fight from the edges
-or the middle
assassins looking for you in NY
are not happy assassins
finding you alone on a mountain
is not going to go well
~
so if you do go
bring friends and money

We may not be in the right place now. I see these tyrants as bullies and the more they push the more I see how vulnerable they are. Without hope there is no faith. I have to have both. This country was created by hope faith and honestly miracles. I can move but I won’t hide, and I won’t go down without a fight. https://www.google.com/search?q=did+washington+meet+an+angel&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&hl=en&client=safari#fpstate=ive&vld=cid:83465fdc,vid:jeq-wWU4qTg,st:0
Now you understand why I want to move back to WV.
