Yeah, I was smiling through the whole thing. I really should have used the stepdads. They were supremely funny in this :) A Caravan. Pahaha. And the banter between the two main characters was cute :)
How about a list of sentences that have actually been used over the past few years, non-comedically, that sound like something out of Monty Python? Such as "My penis is female" and "Toxic whiteness has nothing to do with being white".
Awesome! Bravo! Fight Club reference, love it. Demi must be LHAO. The “I’m not sure how to tell the story without referencing Hegel” could be its own prompt. I mean, isn’t that any story?😄
Sending this on to my son who is 45 today. He will absolutely LOVE it (as did I)! Fight Club is one of his favorite movies, so I’m sure he’ll enjoy the references. Thank you for turning nonsense into something special and entertaining.
BRAVO!!
Clap. Clap. CLAP!! 🤣🤣🤣
'Twas a rather challenging assignment!
Hahaha! You wouldn’t know it from your play. You practically made those bizarre sentences make sense. 🤪
I tried! Thanks!!
This is definitely great! Have you ever done any fictional writing? Screenplay writing? It's really good.
Thank you :-)
I wrote two spec scripts when I lived in LA. (Doesn't everybody?) I would like to do more fiction writing eventually.
You certainly should. You have the knack. If you can make THIS out of that, Haha.
It’s really good, right?! 😘

Thanks :-) I will eventually…

Yeah, those are some sentences the universe never expected, nor wanted, to hear.
I don't think I have the stomach to write that play. Surrealist comedy, sure. Postmodernist tragedy…probably not.
Not comparing you to anyone but the storyline and the way it was told gave me Vonnegut vibes. It’s wholly original though.
Hey bro, you want to compare me to Vonnegut, feel free! I don't even consider myself a fiction writer, so I'll definitely take that!
So true.

You are the first person (other than my wife) to catch the Fight Club reference. Kudos. And thanks!
And yeah, all of a sudden, I saw the Hegel opportunity and it practically wrote itself!
I caught it!! Just didn’t mention that I caught it. 😛
I am glad you caught it. "Fight Club" is pretty much required viewing!
Agreed! Or required reading. ;)
Is it a good book?
I haven’t read that one of his- only Survivor. But I’d bet it is! I usually recommend reading the book before seeing the movie.
Well said!
Jake and Nora thank you.
Fun story, good job making those sentences almost seem natural.
Thanks! It took a while 🤣
Excellent!
Thank you :-)

Thanks very much; I am glad it is bringing pleasure. It was fun to write! It took a while, but it was a blast :)
Amazing! I skimmed through those goofy sentences and couldn’t think of a way to use any of them! Very inventive!
Thank you. It took me hours! 🤣
Yes, that's about the size of it.

Yeah, pretty much.
This is awesome!! "His name is Robert Paulson." LOVE the Fight Club reference!! 😂
Thanks, JCH! I was wondering who would catch it first…
Wow, just wow. It almost made as much sense as my writing!!
Almost!
