Excellent post. So many of us are simply over the military industrial complex and the war machine. I reference the song by Oingo Boingo entitled Weird Science often in my mind. I hope for science that actually improves the condition of mankind and ecological systems rather than the destructive applications we have mostly devised. I was in Fermi Lab years ago, too, as it was part of University of Chicago. I recently looked into their budget and upcoming projects, which are in the billions of dollars, over budget, mismanaged, etc. I can think of so many more HUMAN and HUMANE ways to spend billions of dollars rather than particle colliders and such. My dad knew Thomas Dolby of She Blinded Me With Science fame and said Mr.Dolby was very clever. He did an album entitled The Golden Age of Wireless. It is my opinion that not all of it has been golden. Important face to face interaction has been lost and the surveillance state grew into a dystopian nightmare. I don’t have the answers but I am tired of war machines, destruction, surveillance and sickness for profit being the outcome of scientific endeavors. You are a very persuasive writer. I hope your readership grows. Folks where I work are reading your work now.

You might be interested in a song by a band called The The: Armageddon Days (Are Here Again). A DJ I used to know turned me on to it when I was still a “fancy girl” who hung out with powerful people. That seems like an entirely different lifetime. I watched the video and wondered why said people were portrayed in a poor light by the artist. I fully understand now, though. It seems like an appropriate song for the times we are living in.

Shouldn't the real question be:

Should the government be given the power to limit a person's ability to keep and bear arms, regardless of what those arms might be?

Excellent article and argument. There is no need for any country to have tens of thousands of nukes, as you pointed out. I would be on board with eliminating nuclear weapons, but a few things would be necessary before this could happen: the psychotic individuals in places like Iran and Russia, just to name a few, would absolutely need to get rid of their arsenals first, and that’s unlikely without some major political upheaval in those places; we would need, if we don’t already have, a bulletproof defense system capable of destroying anything launched in our direction. Without these things in place, it could be suicide for the world. Putin blows hard about his nuclear capabilities, but if he’s even partially correct, he or his successor would be capable of holding the world hostage.

Song of the day Hooverphonic: Fake Is The New Dope. I don’t believe we have time for fake anymore. Off to work, where I can only hope to not hear about oat milk, or cashew milk or pure nonsense when we have trafficking going on, a failing fake economy, genocide (I was in research so I follow actual data) and we are being invaded, a ton of our population is on pharmaceuticals that numb them out, etc., etc., etc. And our so called leaders simply do not give a crap. I know because I have contacted a lot of them. Thus, they are not fit to lead me in a damn thing. I have no room for fake anymore. I’m not a fun chick anymore.

The thing I have ascertained over the last 4 years is that there are many people who are only too happy to outsource their own responsibilities to the state and that is a big problem. I heard a woman who after her elderly parents developed embolisms post vaccination and were healthy prior, said, “I don’t know why no one wants them?” as she was attempting to line up care for them. My question is why would anyone want to pawn parents off to the state for care or anyone else for that matter? Why not care for them at home if the means are available? Particularly if one does not have an outside career. I have numerous such incidents. I frankly don’t trust the state to properly care for anything well and to my standards. This is how a ginormous government was grown. None of it seems to be actually working well from direct observation. We used to be autonomous and capable decades ago. I do not think that is the case any longer. I really do not want to PAY for people who are unproductive and do not contribute anything, either. People can say I am mean or whatever. I am fine with that. I think at this point, I have heard it all pertaining to me. Bitch, etc. I have had to learn to grow a very thick skin at this point. I believe there are only two genders as well and am not drinking any Koolaid that would cause me to believe otherwise. I don’t know how to fix this mess but I do absolutely know what my own beliefs are and am cool standing alone in them. What I am NOT ok with is folks in my rather affluent area whine about a lack of oat milk for their coffee while this nation is freaking burning and is being invaded. I have no room for such conversations at this point. I hear it on a daily basis, though. From a whole lot of dudes, too. So I live in a very weird area, I guess. I am pretty over a lot now, I suppose. I’m fine not being popular. The only time I ever was was when I was doing the wrong thing.

At this point, when I do choose to associate with people, I hang out with ex military people. I prefer to be in the company of those who have had to fight, literally, as much as I have. I cannot deal with those who hide in their homes, watching Netflix anymore. I learned to fight like a man in the dirt while on a ranch, where the stupid State dropped off drug addicts and freaking crazy people to get them out of towns. I promptly kicked them back out, often having to literally fight it out. Including a dude who consumed all the dog and horse meds, fresh out of jail and babbling about pornography and things I don’t even want to think about, honestly. None of what we have going on is remotely normal and I cannot pretend it is. That was prior to the scamdemic. It is much worse now. I hope everyone knows self-defense at this point. It is an important skill.

Well, the government can now take one’s children, put people in jail falsely, pull licenses, confiscate people’s property. I know of far too many such stories, aside of my own. Mandating medical interventions that kill or kill disable people? We are at critical mass. John Whitehead wrote Battlefield America: The War On The American People in 2015, if memory serves. I have seen enough and heard enough to know that this does not resemble the country I recall prior to 9-11. I read a UN white paper from 2000 entitled Replacement Migration. I was asked last week by a Venezuelan, “Why you no speak Spanish?” Um, because I am an American. I never traveled to a country outside of the US and asked why natives did not speak English. Senator Dick Durban wants to grant a pathway to citizenship via the military. That is not really a good direction. All this said, people still want to talk about football and golf. I am incapable of doing so. Truly, I am.

I wish that I had known that we brought Nazi scientists over when I was going through all the laboratories. It explains so much of what I saw. Just a bunch of weird science. We are not any healthier for it, either. Our life expectancy has dropped. We have had beneficial science, but, from how it was explained to me, “there is not any profit in it”. I must say, that never occurred to me. What a shame. I am simply over the profit over people model. Way, way over it.

Anyone remember the old SNL sketch on this? It was supposed to be a reductio ad absurdum argument to support the idea that gun ownership ought to be limitable. (And maybe it was also a parody of the Cold War.) But my reaction to it was, yeah, why the hell not?

Amazing Article Christopher! I have had most all of those same or similar thoughts. In line with some of Thomas Paine and Thomas Jefferson's thinking. It is a true answer but the Predators won't allow it because they lose too much control. They need to be dealt with.

ronvrooman (Ron). Nice concept, and more power to you, but its incremental and do you think we'll be able to work through the courts and the British Controlled BAR to win? I doubt it.

Hear me now -there are no nuclear bombs- that's another hoax; what they used was white phosphorus ...how could those people in Hiroshima just move right back in? I had a girlfriend back in the '90s from Japan -she had cousins that moved right back in ...that doesn't make sense ...think it over while you're thinking read this:
