Well... In My case, I trust My friend whose studio apartment I occupy 6 sq feet of space within. In this concrete jungle, I will just have to hope for the best should it all fall apart. In highest probability however, I will be toast.
But I am glad that You will be in at least a fair bit of good company. I am always glad to see Others who will survive! I love Humanity! (Thus My work to solve for the moneyed psychopaths in control creating this mess.)
Oh I have been through it and I have no support group. There is no system in place. However, my goal has been to establish a group of ‘backyard’ farmers and a distribution system that in the interim is focused on ‘what sells’ but could be ready for ramping up for a more local food distribution scenario, if needed or as more people come to see the light… But, because I know people don’t fully understand the truth, some still don’t see a problem w the covid policies or vaccines… plenty can relate to a need for autonomous food production and distribution systems for our little neck of the woods that is made up of a lot of poor people really. Probably a bunch of convicted pedophiles living out here. Lots of conservative types that don’t know that x is censoring and can’t conceive that musk was probably involved with the weather attack known as ‘Helene’. He was, in the very least, exploiting the situation before widespread news of the lithium mine had come out. (See the image in the circle next to my screen name). Millions to be made from lithium… one week deadline to invest! He said. Oh they might call out the con trails, but Musk… he’s about free speech! He’s with Trump. They say. Yes, a lot of Trump fans here.
During the mask era, I was going to gatherings of people who wanted to do something about it. I told them how people won’t just change their mind as you lay out the truth and we should take this in consideration as a strategy. I was immediately disliked by this group. They denied what I was saying. By the time I got there, they had all been planning some kind of group exit and build scenario and many of the protesters from all over the place actually achieved that. I had brought up my interest in this, but I was never invited. I think they didn’t trust me for telling them about how difficult it is to get people out of their cult adherent beliefs.
The point is that you can’t worry about the cult adherents. Especially if you believe in freedom. I think most Americans had done a good job of accepting that we all didn’t agree with one another and all were welcome at the grocery store. And yes, things have gotten to the point of manufactured hate for one another, topped with the challenge of knowing how many classroom pets are bringing us down in our immediate area.
We still require a covert hat. Because the bottom line is that we can’t flip the switch in the minds of enough people.
As a 20 year veteran in the anti vax truth spreading scene, shunned from all Facebook platforms since 2016… by that time realizing that the world is a cult… in sociology, we were assigned to research and write about ‘deviant societies’… I wrote about the Amish. Heavily researched the Branch Davidian slaughter… back then I had just begun to realize that world is the worst cult there is… and I learned that people who go off to form their ‘own country’ as I have dreamed about… end up with tyrannical leaders and all manner of just as fk’d up.
All we can do is plant seeds. There could come a day when people need food. We do need to exit and build, but we can’t exit completely. We have to let people be killed and injured by the cult, for them to see the light. And as the opportunity arises, we can drop little seeds of truth to help them see the other crimes and lies… cuz they will not see it all at once. They weren’t paying attention nor thinking too hard about the mounting tyranny prior to 2020 or whatever disaster that frees their captured minds. And they aren’t in positions to think, ‘exit and build’.
What they will do, is start looking for groups or certain experts and such. Hopefully they will find you and Derrick and Corbett and others. Moving forward, they will find the planted liars or the exploiting and mislead who will mislead them too.
The next step in change is to establish schools that stress freedom.
Looking back at my education, I assumed more people came thru with the same message I got regarding freedom and respect for the constitution. Maybe it was rare back in the eighties… but I recall convos about the fear mongering Cold War era. Then when that was over… we began to see more and more restrictions and hurdles, but few noticed. I noticed… my father was an architect and the planning department was enemy number one my whole life. I’m really proud that I’m able to live off grid and un permitted, on a level that most can’t fathom, because of my father’s influence.
Maybe you are not a Christian, but, Christians believe that the highest ‘good’ (in character) that one can achieve, is found in the Bible… despite the possibility that some of it maybe been tainted with messages like, ‘give unto Cesar what is Cesar’s’ but then Jesus asks, ‘for what credit is it to you, if you only love those who love you?’
As a Christian and as a person who sees the culy tyranny cooperators as a huge part of the problem… in the end, we must love them. They simply know not what they do. But WE can be the ones who are there for them when they take the red pill and need a new direction. WE can establish a plethora of small local farms and teach people how to return to the earth. WE can help educate the children to navigate through the mainstream cult without buying into it.
"However, my goal has been to establish a group of ‘backyard’ farmers and a distribution system that in the interim is focused on ‘what sells’ but could be ready for ramping up for a more local food distribution scenario, if needed or as more people come to see the light"
—Smart!
"because I know people don’t fully understand the truth, some still don’t see a problem w the covid policies or vaccines"
—Right. Part of the distributed nation concept needs to be not being super-ambitious about getting people to agree on a wide variety of things. Just the basics of natural law and proper ways to treat one another. Beyond that, everyone should just believe what they wish. Tolerance of different beliefs (i.e., suspending the natural desire to get everyone to agree) is really helpful.
"Heavily researched the Branch Davidian slaughter"
—Waco and Ruby Ridge were my first awakening moment.
"The next step in change is to establish schools that stress freedom."
—Homeschooling is the first line of defense. It's hard to create a whole new system from the top down, but if people do it from the bottom-up, that is very helpful.
"in the end, we must love them. They simply know not what they do."
—You are right, of course. But I do struggle with the anger caused by their serial crimes against humanity.
Oh yes I have heard of them but never really gloved on as FU book kicked me off in 2016 ish and since they are a criminal organization, I kinda prefer not to participate. However, I just moved to a rural community that is best connected to, on FU book. Unfortunately, and I just got a new phone number and need a new email to get back on and am considering it. But, I’ve done well with word of mouth… it’s a small in population but spread out community. Too bad it’s on FU book. But it’s a good effort for sure.
Thank you Christopher!! Could not agree more as you know! I like the tree idea and will think on that.. the words that come to mind: a nucleus of trust .. or something like that.
I do live in a neighborhood where there is no connection possible.. it's racism, hate, entitlement, ignorance and arrogance. People are far from neighborly or even social ..
I was forced to move away from the last place.. vandalism for years .. it's still going on ( trying to sell the place ) I don't even know these people .. independent woman? Having a hard earned dollar? Immigrant? They will find a reason to hate you .. like in the movie Roadhouse...
This is the second place I have experienced this, I have lived in different countries, I have lived in other places here, I have never experienced anything like this anywhere, not even the mid east... these people are a disgrace to human kind. Sick, depraved individuals .. and the law could not help ... I've tried.. for years until it got dangerous. People like that have cloud and are totally out of control. Exactely what we see all around .. above the law, above decency... true mad man. Rabid...
Funny story because we seem to think alike a bit. When the election was coming in 2020 and everyone was losing their minds, I was walking daily up and down my street. I started mapping out places that were high, trying to see which neighbors had wooded lands, find yards big enough to grow food, and trying to figure out how to get two of those road closed barriers. We live on a quiet street that has been forgotten but mostly in the middle of town in a mid sized city. So, just because I wanted to know who might think like me, I bought a bunch of Trump yard signs and started knocking on neighbors doors asking if they wanted one. I had some good conversations and some very bad ones. However, the next morning I went for my walk and out of around 15 houses, 9 had their signs up without fear or favor. I know all of them now. And, we know we will work together if it hits the fan.
I do that, too. I think we successfully stopped someone from buying an empty house across the road because we all went out and put our flags up the day after Trump's win this year. It said sold, the people came by. The next day, there was a for sale sign back up. Whoops. 😄
“But what to call it? A team? A nano-polity (or nano, for short)? A distributed neighborhood? Nah, that’s too long. A tribe? A local? (Is that too associated with unions? Does that matter?)”
I know it's not precisely polities, but most of us are in various voluntary groups. I have been in many free associations: a church, a social group like a Rotary, a runners' club, a bowling league, a golf league, a football or baseball fan club, a country club, etc., etc. Some of these have included people from different neighborhoods and towns, sometimes from different states. It is not far fetched to think of a political unit composed of people from many disjointed geographical locations.
The problems I foresee have to do with preference changes. Any two people can get pissed with each other over many different things. Any group can disband. Tastes and even beliefs can change. At various times probably all or most people change loyalties and drift from a group. Every group must have some plan or procedure regarding accepting personnel changes, maybe even a limit of group size, whether minimum or maximum or both. There are probably many studies about ideal group sizes for many kinds of organizations.
That is why I have focused on a very limited set of unifying principles. Just the absolute basics of natural law and how we are required to treat each other. No ideological program, religious views, tests, etc. Just the basics, and beyond that, tolerance of different beliefs.
Very important stuff in my view. The coming times may very well demand connection to a good black market of trusted people for example. My own little community has been helping each other voluntarily to a more marked degree than I see in most cities. Even what is happening in N. Carolina show that other decent people are a better source of help than our so-called "government" and its corrupt institutions. Those within our little local radio club with our private repeater station have been looking after each other for some time now with a lot of things done for those who have a problem that someone in the group can help with. The House Bailey stands ready to be associated with those who share our principles of freedom, tolerance and harmony. The term Xandara and Xandari are available to such a group if wanted, or such other identifying name decided upon. I kind of like something with the word "comity" in it. Like V-Comity for example for those committed to our distributed nation.
Comity
/kŏm′ĭ-tē/
noun
Mildness and suavity in intercourse; courtesy; civility.
In international law, that courtesy between states or nations by which the laws and institutions of the one are recognized, and in certain cases and under certain limitations given effect to, by the government of the other, within its territory.
Yeah, House Bailey is very much already on board with the DN zeitgeist. I love it!
And it sounds like you are doing it right in terms of the support system you are building. You might need to teach a class someday!
Obviously a name will have to happen at some point. I think about that a lot. I have played around with Xandara/i in my head since you first mentioned it, and I appreciate the offer. It has a great sort of sci-fi pop to it, for sure, but for a few reasons, I don't love it as a name for the DN.
Comity…I guess that has more of a positive vibe than KYFHO, huh? :-D
I was thinking more about this subject a little while ago—about the difference between names that are suggestive (London Fog, Coppertone); descriptive/generic (Acme Lumber Company); fanciful (Pepsi); and arbitrary (Apple). It occurred to me that "Xandara" would fall into the fanciful category, and then I began thinking about which category is desirable. I think there probably will need to be a suggestive element to the name.
But who knows. We will cross this bridge down the road. But it's good to be thinking about it now.
Thought exercises of how you will defend yourself and your family are important. Also how to deal with conflict and even crime in a post collapsed world. People are people. Trust can be fleeting. It’s important to know what motivations people have and how to continually reinforce that. All it takes a small seed of doubt to destroy a team/tribe whatever it’s called. Every disaster movie or post zombie apocalypse show always sees the breakdown.
In future installments, I will be discussing the problems, as I foresee them, with revolutionary scenarios. For now, one question:
In a revolution, one is not just fighting to overthrow a tiny cadre of politburo members, led by a Stalin. There are a lot of people who LIKE the regime. That was less so in the nakedly totalitarian countries of the 20th century; it is a lot more so in the West today. Huge swaths of the population not only have no problem with the communism under which we currently languish—they actually like it. They want it.
So any successful revolution then faces the problem that those people have not gone anywhere. Best case scenario for such a revolution is that the victors of the revolution then get to try to use the system to keep those people at bay. And then wait until those people have once again gathered enough political power to force their communist vision back on us.
Those that support a regime in the setting you propose of a modern revolution, will fight to defend it. Example veterans with a pension or social security recipients etc. it would take a very dedicated person to bail on a system that they invested the time and get a pension or govt money.
There is a precedent. The American Revolution. Not everyone was a loyalist and not everyone was a patriot. The Neigbor on Neigbor violence is a little reported fact of those times. People having to pretend to be one of the other to exercise commerce or to merely survive.
Often a leader will emerge who will also need this validation. The crucial thing is to decide if you want to lead or be led. If the answer is to be led you need to be a good follower and reinforce the leadership. The problem is knowing when to choose your battles. But mutual support will be required. You don’t need to be the king, just supporting the king could keep you alive.
Yep. And anyone proclaiming or desiring to be that leader will have difficult decisions to make and that could very well lead to their demise. Committees will be important.
At first. Yes. Triage after it all goes to shit will require decisions. Security, mutual protection. The Maslow Hierarchy and all. It could be commission or a committee with stakeholders. But what do you do about holdouts?
Analysis Paralysis will be a real thing. Someone will need clarity. That person will need to be consistent and credible or they will be shunned, cast aside or worse.
I think observing how each individual reacts to different situations and make a note or that. Small talk to discuss what they think and really listen instead of trying to dominate the conversation. Ask leading questions. Don’t give away your own opinion. Let them talk and take note. Once you have the informed opinion of your team mates you can figure out what they need to be validated. You must consistently validate them especially in a grid down world. Lead by example and be quick to confront dissent.
So True Christopher. 911 was my Real Wake-up Call, though I had always been stirring, and then the Plandemic and Bioweapon Jab was no surprise to me and I never fell for their BS. Some Great People I know held the line but such a high % did not, including most all of the "Most Intelligent - High De-greed ones.
FYI: Sorry I have not supported you energy - wise lately as I got very sick on Thanksgiving morning and just finally coming around a bit.
Might I suggest that the way Freemasonry has organized itself might be a good model to consider.
Me and my house. But, there are 70 or so other Masonic households in my little city. All led by people I can place trust in because we make obligations to each other, and remove those who don't honor those obligations. Now, obviously, some I know very well, so can place a high amount of trust in, others not so well, so can't place quite as much trust in.
But then, along with your distributed model, there's maybe 40 such households in the little city to the north of me, maybe 100 in the big rural agricultural area to the south of me. Seattle, maybe around 1500, and in the State of Washington, about 8000. This replicated in virtually every country on earth.
I'm not suggesting that everyone look to become a Freemason, I am suggesting that the organizational model might well work for the concept of the Distributed Nation as I understand it.
Note in the chart, where I show fraternal orders. They have characteristics in common with intentional communities, but they are not as territory-based. As I tried to depict using arrows and lines in the chart, the distributed nation incorporates aspects from lots of different types, including the fraternal-order distributed model that you describe.
"I'm not suggesting that everyone look to become a Freemason"
—Yeah—a lot of people are somewhat suspicious of freemasonry in general (as I am sure you already know).
You probably already know this, but just in case you don't, and for others who may read this, please be very careful about things you are asked to do by people in higher levels of your organization, especially anything secret. You seem like a thoughtful, decent person.
People in the highest levels of your organization have committed acts of immense evil. Your involvement and assistance could seem innocent and unrelated on the surface, but could nevertheless make you an accessory to some degree.
How would we protect each other? Knowledge, preparation, and experience is how. How many of y’all know that some common plant stalks can be used to make black powder? Or that there’s no federal limit on the amount of ammunition you can own and possess?
I have a friend that has two automatic reloading machines. They each spit out about 12 rounds a minute. He has buckets, ammo cans, and Rubbermaid tubs full of ammo.
Actually, in all seriousness, my wife and I were watching an episode of Longmire last night that featured angry anti-government survivalist/militia people as the antagonists for the episode. That is also a vibe we should avoid!
I lost a little traffic after Trump won, no doubt because a lot of people now feel like we're saved and our problems are solved. They will be back, however, when they realize that even if Trump is able to make things a little better, the fundamental problems remain.
No doubt about it. The DeathEaters will not give up. If anything they are more focused than ever. The evil is palpable. Your series is fantastic, btw, though the truth is difficult for some to swallow. The Cult of the Presidency is alive and well and will be our ultimate undoing unless the majority of Americans gains sentience regarding current events.
What was the "Survivor" motto? "Outwit, Outplay, Outlast"? We cannot convince everyone. We cannot overthrow and replace the Death Eaters—nor would we want to, since that just makes us like them. We must outwit and outlast. Find our tribe. Build our tribe.
Something to think about. We live in a small apartment community with a wide range of inhabitants. Many are just trying to get by, are in various stages of disability and many younger who don't have a clue. Our real closest family is over 30 miles on my side and three times that distance on my wife's.
We live in a smaller town amid many farms and countryside. There are possibilities and I think I might be more adaptive, my wife not so much. I believe we would support the separatist movement away from government.
I think part of the advantage of getting this thing going now (rather than waiting until it's really really needed) is that we can start thinking about things like, "Who would I want in my tribe if things melt down?"

Is there no one else? What about your friend? Does he have a circle at all?
Oh I have been through it and I have no support group. There is no system in place. Synonyms Amenity, suavity, politeness, consideration.
I'm sure something will catch on at some point by which we call our DN family and that we will be known by in the world as this movement spreads.
Yeah. We need it to be good. To really nail it.
I kinda like calling us the First Principles People. The word compact is also nice, recalling the famous Mayflower Compact.
It has the virtue of being descriptive. We do indeed aspire to be first-principles people.
Part 2 is here.

I wrote this back on the telegram a long time back and it was one of the first stacks I wrote. Here is a link.

Logical and certainly plausible, given history.
I just don't think that is any way to live!
Those that support a regime in the setting you propose of a modern revolution, will fight to defend it. Example veterans with a pension or social security recipients etc. it would take a very dedicated person to bail on a system that they invested the time and get a pension or govt money.
Yes. I must add that to the reasons why (I do not believe) a modern revolution would work…at least not in the way we think.
It would be a dogs breakfast. Anarchy.
There is a precedent. The American Revolution. Not everyone was a loyalist and not everyone was a patriot. The Neigbor on Neigbor violence is a little reported fact of those times. People having to pretend to be one of the other to exercise commerce or to merely survive.
Right. And the American Revolution was comparatively orderly and successful compared to most!
Yes indeed. Any thoughts as to how to do the kind of reinforcement to which you refer?
And sometimes the best leaders are followers in disguise.
In a grid-down world, any leader would have to lead by merit—by proof that following him would be beneficial to the follower.
Yep. And anyone proclaiming or desiring to be that leader will have difficult decisions to make and that could very well lead to their demise. Committees will be important.
Curious what you think—is the leader-follower model the only arrangement of which we will ever be capable?
At first.
You make excellent points to consider!
I am sorry you got sick and glad that you are feeling better. And I am looking forward to your input next week. Some challenging questions upcoming!
Thank you. I look forward to it!
Wasn’t it a blessing of radical self reflection?
Yes indeed!
Were you privy to any of my installments from Chapter 2? E.g., https://christophercook.substack.com/p/pueblo-unido-jamas-sera-vencido
Thanks!
Thanks for the link, I'll check out Chapter 2.
Yep, the conspiracy theories about us abound!
Cheers!
‘Tis one of the reasons why I am trying to create a leaderless nation, without a hierarchy. I don’t want anyone to be told what to do.
Can't trust anyone based on what I've witnessed. Sad, the state of compliance everywhere.
We can trust some. Just not a lot.
I hope so, I’m looking for them in my direct real life personal sphere.
Have you tried freedomcells.org?
Yes
No luck?
Nope, no one in my area
How would we protect each other? Knowledge, preparation, and experience is how. How many of y’all know that some common plant stalks can be used to make black powder? Or that there’s no federal limit on the amount of ammunition you can own and possess?
"there’s no federal limit on the amount of ammunition you can own and possess"
—No, but the state of NY sure makes it hard to get it in bulk!
I really hate that some states put such restrictions on their citizens liberties.
I have a friend that has two automatic reloading machines. They each spit out about 12 rounds a minute. He has buckets, ammo cans, and Rubbermaid tubs full of ammo.
> What sort of weirdo sees trouble and thinks, “I should start my own country”?
Just don't go Full Petoria: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FiQFzcVYoGs 🧐
Deal lol.
Actually, in all seriousness, my wife and I were watching an episode of Longmire last night that featured angry anti-government survivalist/militia people as the antagonists for the episode. That is also a vibe we should avoid!
🎯Have a plan today!
Right. That's why we are focusing on this now.
& a plan B, C, and....
