Sepultura—great instrumentation, but I need some melody. Like, I am okay with screamo for part of the song, but if that is all there ever is, I start to lose it. One example I like is Epica, which is a blend of both.
About 30 seconds into an Epica song (never heard of em before) and like what I hear already. Chick singer with great voice, well we where I stand on that. And I just ;love this style, whatever it is called. I like metal with that orchestral feel to it
Oops, I actually meant Soulfly, the singer's other band. But doesn't really change what you said. I feel ya on that too. I like both ways, but a nice melody with some brutal riffs always works too
Coincidentally, the first link (the tribal drumming) is what made me think soulfly with the other band. Blazing guitars with some traditional style mixed.
As for the rap song, did that just happen to pop up in a soulfly search or something?
Love the Trump Latinos!
Bloodywood is bloody brutal. That song is fire.
It's not everyone's thing, but we like it!
Definitely not for everyone but its perfect for me. Not sure if ya familiar with the bands Sepultura, but it reminded me of some of their stuff.

Yeah—symphonic metal. Some of it is really good. And yeah, her voice!
ah, symphonic, that's the word I was looking for

You know a movement is growing when it starts to get really good music.
