"In debates between anarchists and statists, the burden of proof clearly should rest on those who place their trust in the state. Anarchy's mayhem is wholly conjectural; the state's mayhem is factually, undeniably horrendous." - Robert Higgs

Yes! I finally realized the truth of this about 10 months ago, and I have been screaming it from the rooftops ever since.

As an Irish woman, Brehon Law intrigues me in particular.

Glad to see you've found Jeff Berwick, too?

"As an Irish woman, Brehon Law intrigues me in particular."

—I too am looking forward to learning more.

"Glad to see you've found Jeff Berwick, too?"

—Only just yesterday!

"How I got all the way to last week before hearing of Cheran is beyond me."

I hadn't heard about it either, and I have a theory.

Leftists control the media and they use that control to suppress the truth about self-organization and freedom in general. They prefer to report stories with the message, "Government is good. More government is necessary." And if there are no such stories, the leftist media invent them. "We need more government, to stop the trans genocide!"

100%!

And average rank-and-filers aid and abet the process. You would not believe the hostility and incredulity I deal with from people. "What do you mean, government is illegitimate?" "Without government, we'd all kill each other."

IOW, it's the media, but it's not JUST the media.

Yep. It's the perfect cover. Not only do they get to claim "legitimacy," but the masses grant it to them. And they shout down anyone who questions that legitimacy. They empower our oppressors.

Sounds like we're on the same path. Keep reading, keep asking questions—we'll get there together.
