Is Mexican Government's Critique of Trump Cover for Their Own Racism?
Perhaps Mexico needs to look in the mirror…
As a political anarchist in search of solutions to the problem of involuntary governance, I do not comment much on the news of the day or the latest partisan squabbles. But I do have an observation to make on a topic that I don’t hear discussed often: Mexican racism.
In recent years, Mexican officials’ rhetoric regarding United States’ policies on immigration has followed a pattern: When the United States does not enforce its own immigration laws or secure its own border, it is praised or little is said. When the United States enforces its immigration laws and exercises control over its national boundaries, it is “racist” and violating “human rights.”
