I vaguely recall something about a bear and four apples up on top... LOL!

Yes, the whole "global warming/climate change" bunk was concocted to justify draconian legal moves to give the moneyed psychopaths in control on Our planet (by virtue of money) more power/control.

And humbly... I have no idea about Turner and something called Auntie Entity... Haha!

Maybe I will be enlightened...

Thanks!

Now you must watch at least the first three Mad Max movies!

Amaterasu Solar's avatar

Oh, I watched the first. LOL! WAYYYY back in the day! Like… When it first came out.

Christopher Cook's avatar

The first is the worst. The second is the best. The third has Tina Turner.

There's no accounting for taste(lessness. Wink.), first Mad Max was the best!

OK, OK, 'cause I saw it first in '79 or '80 & it sent the stage. ;-)

I must admit, I was worried about the sequels, such are seldom as good as the first. Another Aussie film, Man from Snowy River, built around Banjo Paterson's poem, (IMHO, one of the very best movies ever made!) came out in '81 or '82 and it's sequel Man from Snowy River 2, was one of the worst.

I dunno… I liked the first one. Saw it at sci fi conventions too, there for a while. Might have seen the second one… Not sure. But was not drawn to the third at all.

“Apple Top” (as named by a 2 year old) was a FAVORITE story when our boys were little. Especially the part where the apple cart goes “Ka-blamo.” Still referenced 25 years later! Love seeing so many other people enjoying it too.

Christopher Cook's avatar

Love it!

For our part, my wife and I still say "we will not let them get them" 25 years later 😁

10 apples up on top 🍏🍎

You either have kids or remember being one.

Or both. 🙃

I thought you might say that :-)

I’m so predictable. 🤣🤣💕

Hey, I'm just a raggedy-man. I'm certainly not going to argue with Meme #4.

Christopher Cook's avatar

Yeah, no need to argue. We don’t need another hero.

We were told about the Medieval 'little ice age' but not the warm period! A couple of years ago, a pole researcher registered an addition of an enormous mass of ice - a climate change fanate friend unbelievingly shook head, but then looked it up... bummers.

Some glaciers are shrinking and others are expanding. Someone wondered long ago how anything can disappear from earth - it cannot. Everything is locked inside earth and its atmosphere.

How do you stack 4 apples???

I never realized bears could experience FOMO. Never seen this book, so childish in a good way.

Christopher Cook's avatar

It’s always a relief when the bears finally come around.

You are such a dad, bravo!

INGRID C DURDEN's avatar

I am going to ask my dog to do it but I need to get some apples first LOLOL. I am not even going to try the cats.

Christopher Cook's avatar

Aw man, now I have to rewatch that movie. It’s been a while!

Ben L.'s avatar

I think you'll find it holds up well.

I still have to restrain myself from howling "V-V-V-V-Videoooooooo" whenever my wife says the word "video."

Especially not one who’s just a raggedy man.

Ahh, the ‘80s — awesome music videos that made no sense!

Okay, that is pretty freakin’ amazing.
