Very good. Always follow the logic! In the early seventies I joined a a small group in Sydney called AIR. Alliance for Individual Rights. My interest in politics was very limited though. I think the very word politics has something in it that is alien to the individual. My only criticism is the word unforgivable. If anything is unforgivable then someone or something is forever damned. No good can come of this idea. It will lead only to fear and lies. And many believe it. Inexcusable is fine.

I agree regarding politics. I don't want anything to do with it. But those of us who are compelled to fight for the rights of the individual are thus compelled into politics.

I have been toying with a similar thought about ideology, if we define ideology as a comparatively detailed system of belief. Is what I believe an ideology, or is it better described as a simple philosophy? I don't know. But here too, it doesn't matter, because other ideologies have decided that the individual human person is the food for their machine, the grist for their mill. So I find myself in an ideological fight that I would not otherwise have chosen.

Re: the word unforgivable—critique accepted!

Oh I definitely understand your position and that of all people now compelled to fight for the freedoms necessary to live the lives they wish to live that is alarmingly threatened by politics no sane freedom loving person wants anything to do with. I her meant to criticize these tremendous efforts being made by you and so many creative people. It’s tremendous work and real resistance to the slavery being planned.

Thank you. I did not feel criticized at all by your comments. I was simply thinking about what you said about the word "politics" being alien to the individual. Perhaps I overlaid my own thoughts on that notion, but I am basically just bemoaning the fact that we have to engage in the ugly business of politics. There are things I would rather be doing. But the fight is too important, so we keep fighting it!

I understand clearly what you’re your saying Christopher. You write very well and precisely.
